Purpose of New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation (NSO) among other teams in the First-Year Experience department, helps
new students build confidence, form meaningful connections, and access key resources - preparing them to thrive
in their first year. We envision every new student at BYU-Idaho feeling a deep sense of belonging, empowered
to reach their divine potential, and inspired to lead as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
